Schedule for views collection per county by Education Taskforce

PRESIDENTIAL WORKING PARTY ON EDUCATION REFORM

CHAIRPERSON’S OFFICE

NOTIFICATION OF PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT FORUMS

It is notified for the general information of the public that pursuant to Article 10(2)(a) and 232(1)(d) of the Constitution, the Presidential Working Party on Education Reforms has scheduled public engagement forums in the 47 Counties of the Republic of Kenya.

The Working Party teams shall accordingly be visiting and available to receive views from various stakeholders at the dates, times and venues listed in the Schedule below. 

All Public engagements in the Counties will be conducted from 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. in the venues shown.

    Introduction
    CBC, though appear a noble idea, is not popular to teachers themselves, six years since.
    Contribution.
    *The content for primary classes, more so questions given for assessment are too advanced for most of kids to grasp; some challenge the teachers themselves.
    * A hybrid of 8- 4 -4 and CBC would have been preferable at this time.
    * Training for facilitators (teacher) has been scanty. It's been curiously rushed.
