Dozens of pupils from Kagio Primary School staged a protest at a police station in Kirinyaga County demanding the arrest and prosecution of a their teacher whom they accused of sexual misconduct.
The Standard Eight pupils forced their way into the station while screaming during the Friday evening protest.
Some of the pupils accused the teacher of indecently touching their private parts.
The pupils also demanded for the removal of the teacher from the school.
Mwea West police boss Aden Alio said the teacher was seized shortly after the protests for inter-rogation.
Mr Alio said detectives have opened investigation into the accusations.
He said police are seeking to record statements from the victims.
Some parents who spoke to the Nation following the protests claimed they have received com-plaints from their children regarding the teacher.
